Meet The Staff

We are very proud of our outstanding team of director, teachers, assistants and office staff here at Harmony.

Each teacher is certified in early childhood education and has postgraduate teacher training. Our teachers are experienced early childhood educators.

What we do not only includes educating your children, but educating ourselves. Our staff actively keeps up with the latest research in early childhood education, and attends professional development programs, all with the goal of giving your children the quality education they deserve in their early years. In addition our staff maintains current certifications in both CPR and First Aid.

Ana Beatriz Köng de Littow
General Director

I am Ana Beatriz and I am honored and delighted to be able to work with your little Firefly!
I am a Clinical Psychologist with a Master's degree in Educational Counseling. My Degree is accredited both nationally and internationally. I had the great privilege to be able to be trained by the Positive Discipline Association in Seattle, Washington to become a Certified Positive Discipline in the Classroom Educator and now enjoy guiding our teachers and parents on how to apply the Positive Discipline principles in their interactions with children. It has been magical to witness how these enhance children's self esteem as they bring back the joy of teaching and parenting.

In 2020 I was able to earn my title as a Bullying Prevention Specialist by the American School Counselor Association. I am grateful our mentors guided us to understand the impact emotional wellness relates to a community's ability to learn and thrive, as for learning to happen students first need to feel psychologically safe. With that in mind, I strive to create a school environment where members feel safe and cared for, are known as individuals, where there is a true sense of community and a motivation to give their best.
I am very grateful to have been able to meet another of my goals in 2022 to best support our Fireflies at Harmony; I earned my Certification in Early Childhood Education Leadership from Harvard University. Besides learning research based best practices for early education, I thank our leaders at Harvard who taught us why one of the best investments leaders can make for young children in an educational setting is focusing on the adults who shape the environment where they learn, grow and thrive, and how to always keep this important pillar solid.

I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development -academic, social, emotional, motor- is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures growth in a positive, fun environment. I have had the privilege of working with American schools for more than 20 years as a School Counselor, having the honor to work with teams of spectacular professionals in their different areas of specialty. Now, it will be my privilege to guide our Fireflies at Harmony. As we take on new challenges and continue to meet new goals, we will surely accomplish our vision of scaffolding each child's learning, supporting self-belief and helping them discover their true potential!
Shine bright Fireflies!
